AT ESCAPE GAME LI
WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME OR ESCAPE ROOM ?
Escape Room Long Island are real-life adventure quests where you and your teammates discover clues, solves puzzles, and crack codes in order to escape the rooms. The game originated in Japan and is based off escape the room video games created by Toshimitsu Takagi in 2005.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT ?
Participants under the age of 16 must book a private game
Players under the age of 8 will not be allowed to enter the game room
WHAT TIME SHOULD MY GROUP ARRIVE ?
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your booking. We do have to keep a strict schedule, so if you arrive late you may not receive as much time in your game room. As we have 2 locations, please check your confirmation email to find out which location your game is scheduled.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME TO ESCAPE ?
Just your SNEAKERS, friends and a winning spirit! You will only need the clues within the rooms to escape.
ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO LOCK US IN ?
No! Your safety is our top priority, so we don’t really lock you in. You have the option to leave the escape room at any time if necessary.
ARE THERE CAMERAS IN THE ESCAPE ROOMS ?
Yes. Cameras are used to monitor your live experience.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T SOLVE ANYTHING ?
We will be monitoring your progress throughout the escape game. Our game masters will provide clues if you get stuck — after all, we want you to have fun! Remember, it’s not only about trying to escape the room, it’s about the full experience.
DO I NEED TO BOOK OUR ESCAPE GAME IN ADVANCE ?
Yes. You can see escape game times and book reservations by clicking the red BOOK NOW button in the top right hand corner. We can’t guarantee a spot unless you’ve booked ahead of time.
ARE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE TO A FRIEND ?
Yes. You can give/sell your tickets to another person. Just give us a call at 516-348-4823 and we can take care of that for you.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED ?
We take every major credit card through our online booking system and in our stores.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS ?
Our themes have a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 10 players.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEO WHILE PLAYING THE ESCAPE GAMES ?
Sorry, but we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos in the escape rooms. We can arrange to video your experience for a fee. Please contact us to find out more!
WHAT IF WE DON'T BOOK ALL THE AVAILABLE SPOTS FOR AN ESCAPE ROOM ?
There is no ideal number of players, as we adjust the game to accommodate your group size. During peak hours, you will likely make some new friends unless you select the “book entire activity” option.
